The St. Louis Arches are the sensational, youth circus performance troupe from Circus Harmony, St. Louis’ only circus school and social circus organization. The Arches are currently comprised of children aged nine to twenty years old from throughout the St. Louis area. They perform a wide variety of circus arts including: acrobatic, aerial, juggling, balancing and bareback riding feats of skill and daring. Since their inception in 1989, they have been coached and directed by Jessica Hentoff. These acclaimed and accomplished youth circus performers can be seen almost every weekend in their ‘home ring’ at City Museum in downtown St. Louis. They also appear at a number of public and private events throughout St. Louis and beyond. The Arches have been appearing with Circus Flora since 1989. They have also been honored to perform for Cirque du Soleil and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. For the past two summers, the Arches have collaborated with the Galilee Circus, a Jewish Arab youth circus from Israel in a project called Peace through Pyramids. This year the St. Louis Arches are celebrating their 20th anniversary!

And introducing: Donovan “Donovino” Hughes
Five year old Donovan “Donovino” Hughes is a student at Circus Day Foundation’s Circus Harmony Center. He is also active in his church choir and is in demand to sing at area churches where he is known as “Little Rev.” Donovan is a second generation circus performer. His father, Donald, was one of the first St. Louis Arches and his brother, Little Donald, is currently a member of the Arches. “Donovino” made his Flora debut last year as Nino’s sidekick and this is his first year performing on horseback.
