Andrew Adams and Erika Gilfether, also known as ADAMO, return for a second season with Circus Flora. Andrew, a graduate of the theatre program at Bates College, spent seven summers training, performing, and traveling New England with the youth circus, Circus Smirkus. Erika is a life long dancer, having graduated from N.Y.U Tisch school of the Arts with a degree in dance. They met while working with the Midnight Circus in Chicago, IL and have spent the last eight years developing their act to seamlessly combine each of their backgrounds and reflect the devoted connection between them. They recently finished several months of performing under the beautiful Spiegel tent of Teatro ZinZanni in San Francisco and Seattle. Other highlights include Wagner’s “Ring” cycle with The Lyric Opera of Chicago, choreographed by Debra Brown, “The Crimson Cabaret” with Pendulum Aerial Dance Theatre, and the Moers Jazz Festival in Moers, Germany with “The Midnight Circus”. Andrew joins Circus Flora in a solo capacity in 2009, as Erika is soon expecting their first child!
